And the Choirs Sing: The Pump Organ Removed

The Calgary team got the long weekend off to a good start by removing this pump organ, still in good condition.

Also known as "reed organs," they use a series of small metal reeds as opposed to the large pipes commonly seen in churches. Their smaller size made them easier to move into homes for personal use and they were popular until the advances of electronic organs, which could be smaller and even lighter than pump organs.

The Calgary team was able to get this pump organ out in one piece so it could be used again, no matter what we remove, we always try our best to preserve it. In the condition it's in, this pump organ will make a nice collectible!
