6 Valentine's Day Date Ideas -- Outside the Box!

What Are you doing this Valentine’s Day?

Trying to steer away from the traditional Valentine ’s Day “dinner and movie” date idea (not that there is anything wrong with that classic) but here at JUSTJUNK® we like to be different! We've come up with some not so traditional Valentine’s Day date ideas for you and your loved one, or even ideas you could do as a group, or with friends!

1. Instead of going out, have a night in! You can plan a meal, set up your table all nice with candles, flowers, whatever you want! Not only can cooking together be more fun and intimate, but then you can make what you want, stay as long as you want, and if you need to unbutton the top of your pants because you ate too much, you can because no one will judge you in your own home!

2. A spa day! Now this might not be for everyone, and ladies you might have a hard time convincing your man to attend, but if you can, it’ll be enjoyable for all! You can have a couple’s massage where you can both relax, while still enjoying each other’s company.

3. Be a tourist for a day! A lot of people don’t realize all the fun things they have right in their own back yard! Or they have wanted to do them but just haven’t made the time! Well, now is the time to do so. Choose something different that you wouldn't normally do, or somewhere you've never been even if it's just around the corner!

4. A game night! You can invite over other couples, or friends or both! Pull out some fun games,  new, old, or games you didn't know were hiding in a closet, make some fun Valentine ’s Day snacks and enjoy!

5. Plan a random blind-folded road trip. Now before you get the wrong idea, we don’t mean drive around blind folded! That would be silly and dangerous. Take your friend, significant other, or whoever you are spending Valentine ’s Day with, put them in the car (passenger seat!) and blind fold them. Then, have them give you directions! Make a left, make a right, go straight etc. You won’t know where you’ll end up.

6. This last one is a little more daring, and a little more money, but can easily be worth it. Go to the airport (or look online), and pick the cheapest, soonest flight you can find, and spend the weekend wherever it’s going!

There you have it! Some Valentine’s Day date ideas that do not just involve dinner and a movie! There are so many options out there and so many ways to get creative as well. Enjoy this weekend spending time with your loved ones, no matter what you do!
